Join us for book club! We currently offer a few different book clubs each month
(genres may vary every month).
Book club is free for customers to attend (though please register below).
Book club picks are 10% off in-store.
It is recommended that you read the book before attending because of spoilers.
Doors are open 30 minutes before and after each book club meeting for book club attendees to shop around if they'd like. Book club attendees receive 10% off their purchase during this time (excludes sale/discounted items & gift cards).
October Book Club Picks:
Spooky Book Club - October Pick
Join us on Sunday, October 13th from 7:00-8:00pm at The Nook for a special spooky book club, in partnership with Cedar Falls Ghost Tour! We'll be discussing A History of Ghosts, Spirits, and the Supernatural, an illustrative guide to a hauntingly inexplicable phenomenon. Free to attend, with light refreshments and chilling tales provided. Bring yourself, a spooky ghost story, and a friend! Attendees will have the chance to be entered into a drawing for two tickets to the 2024 Cedar Falls Ghost Tour.
Bar Winslow Book Club - October Pick
Join us on Tuesday, October 15th from 7:00-8:00pm at Bar Winslow, the prohibition-inspired craft cocktail bar located in the historic Black Hawk Hotel, to discuss a spooky classic, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Free to attend with specialty themed drinks available for purchase! Swing by The Nook to pick up a beautiful edition of Frankenstein for 10% off. Please register using the link below!
