The Nook is an independent bookstore located in the Downtown District of Cedar Falls, IA.

We sell primarily new books (with a small used section at the front of our store). You can find adult, young adult, and children's books in our store. We also carry bookish and non-bookish merchandise such as candles, greeting cards, stickers, bookmarks, games & activities, tote bags, stationery items, and more!

Our mission at The Nook is to provide a safe and cozy place for readers to gather, converse, find new books, and to inspire new readers.
