John Smith is called back into action by the CIA to do what seems impossible: capture an elusive computer hacker called the Auctioneer, who has stayed ahead of law enforcement for twelve years. To add to the pressure, the Auctioneer has stolen a nuclear weapon. The evidence points to an inside job, and so John Smith goes undercover. Unfortunately, the Auctioneer already knows he's on the case...and the attempts on John's life are getting closer to succeeding. Can John Smith find the Auctioneer and stop the auction of a nuclear weapon, or will he die trying in a vain attempt to stop a nuclear holocaust?
